On April 6, 1994, Rwanda was plunged into horror. A million Tutsis were massacred in 100 days. We were 15 years old at the time. We wanted to understand the political and human aspects of a genocide that took place while the whole world looked on; understand why and how the French authorities dragged our country into a history that was not our history. This film tells the story of the last genocide of the 20th century.
